Filippo Tocchi is an artist living in Amsterdam. His work explores a veiled sense of self and surroundings through processes of self-recording, dissection, negation and portraiture, reflecting on collective forms of societal submission and control.
Filippo's practice is based on collaborations and writings and formalizes in objects, texts, video and contexts. Filippo is a co-founder of the art collective MRZB (2014-2024) and organizes and curaters a programme of events with Rin Suemitsu at GDL525, Amsterdam.
